Essay

Day 1:

Today, after breakfast, both Kyle and I did some math with Grandpa for a couple hours. Both of us went over our math homework. I went over my Math test study guide with Grandpa and Kyle learned some sort of Chinese poem, and after we finished, we were allowed to play some video games. For lunch, Kyle and I had noodles, and when we finished, both of us took a walk around the lake, then we came back and played some more of videogames until dinner. And then after dinner, we had some fruit (I had 2 bananas and Kyle had something else). When we finished, we watched some TV (doctor who), did Khan Academy, and eventually went to bed.

Day 2:

Everything we did today was mostly the same as yesterday, except we had dumplings for lunch, oranges for desert, and this time, we walked around the lake with Grandma.

Then, we were allowed to do anything we wanted until dinner. And then after dinner, me and Kyle watched TV until bedtime.

Minecraft Mods: Lucky Blocks

Have any of you seen a minecraft block with a question mark in youtube videos about minecraft? They are called lucky blocks, which come from a mod with the same namesake. In order to make a lucky block, you need eight gold ingots, and one dropper. The main purpose of these blocks is to drop a random item every time you break one. Which gives you something you might have wanted, and a good use for the least durable material in Minecraft. However, aside from giving you items lucky or not, lucky blocks can even summon mobs, make a hole in the ground, and generate structures such as a pyramid which contains 4 or 5 lucky blocks inside. Besides the basic lucky block as can you see below, there are other variations of lucky blocks, which also call for different crafting recipes, and also have different drops, they can even drop items that do not exist in other mods, making those lucky block variations very useful!

Other variations of lucky blocks can include green, red, and even cobblestone lucky blocks.

Mortal Kombat: Scorpion

For all of you who know the classic fighting game mortal kombat, I will be explaining about the mascot Scorpion. Here is a little background info: Hanzo Hasashi (alias the Scorpion), was an assassin who was part of the Shirai Ryu assassin clan until he was seemingly killed by his rival Bi-Han, aka Sub-zero. However, Hanzo did not stay dead for long, as he was resurrected by the Netherrealm sorcerer Quan Chi. Who had falsely told Scorpion Sub-zero had killed his family (Quan Chi was the actual murderer), Quan Chi eventually gave scorpion pyrokinetic powers. This prompted Scorpion to seek revenge on Sub-zero, which has been his main quest the whole 10 games of Mortal Kombat, perhaps his most well known move was "Get Over Here"! a move where he tosses his spear at his enemy and pulls them to him. However, it was finally revealed in MKX that Scorpion learned to real cause of his family's death, and thus beheading Quan Chi. Upon killing the evil sorcerer, Scorpion has been seen working on both the good and bad side.

Minecraft what makes me happy and what makes me angry

What makes me happy:

1. You can get awesome stuff.
2. The possibilities of building are endless.
3. There are multiplayer servers with really fun mini games.
4. You can get a variety of skins from certain websites.

What makes me angry:

1. It's risky that you can die any minute.
2. When you die, all your stuff is gone.

3. Some servers have to have a certain mine craft update, like 1.7.1.

My solution to the problems are that when in Pvp, I can store my valuables in a chest, or Burn them so no one else can get them.

And for the server problems, I can just play on another server.

What I learned for the deaths, take a long breath, which is what I learned from my counselor to deal with anger, and I could play on a different server if I'm angry.
